A Key to Better Communication
EIKI was founded in 1959 in Japan. The name comes from a combination of two Japanese words – the words for picture and machine – which is just what you want in your home theater – a wonderful picture from your machine! The company began as a provider to educational facilities – bringing 16mm film projectors into many classrooms. And, as technology has advanced and home projectors are becoming more affordable, EIKI has begun providing products to individual consumers as well as educational facilities and businesses. Just as the name implies, EIKI is providing the key to a better home theater experience in the mid price range. EIKI projectors start at around $1000 and go up from there. EIKI has a line of projectors for home theater, wide screen presentations, auditoriums, conference/boardrooms, and the classroom. For The Home Theater There are three EIKI projectors designed for the home theater. Prices range from $1000 to $3000, making these innovative projectors within reach for the mid range budget. EIKI projectors can be used as portable units or as stationary units –depending on your needs. Each projector comes with a step-by-step users guide for easy installation and setup. Once you have your home theater set up, there are several sites on the Internet to help you with EIKI projector troubleshooting. Many times when consumers send products in for repairs, they end up paying the repairman to tell them something that could have been found with a little research – thus saving the consumer money. With the popularity of home computers, this is even easier than you may think. Many times you can solve the problem by checking the EIKI projector lamp – the leading cause of less than perfect pictures with any projector. While I found some EIKI projector parts available on the EIKI website, I had to search other places for many of the parts. This makes replacement just a little more time-consuming, but can save money because many places buy in bulk in order to offer lower prices. The EIKI lc color video projector bulb is one of the most expensive replacement parts, so availability from a variety of sources can turn out to be a good thing for the consumer. Overall, EIKI seems to be a good resource for finding a projector for your home theater, but I did not like the fact that the website did not contain all of the information I needed. After all, it is hard to enjoy a home theater system while waiting for replacement parts.
